Membrane Keypads

Produced from chemical resistant polycarbonate or cost effective polyester, membrane switches are available in a variety of colors and configurations. Made from layers of insulating materials and conductive inks, membrane switches are completely integrated switching systems. Their low profile and available self-adhesive backing make membrane switches ideal for small spaces and outdoor applications.

Rubber Keypads

Produced from chemical resistant, nontoxic silicone compounds; rubber keypads are available in a variety of colors and configurations. Nonconductive rubber is used for the keys and conductive rubber is used for the pill inserts. When used in conjunction with copper contacts etched in a printed circuit board, a wide variety of switching configurations can be accomplished. Rubber keypads can be integrated with membrane switches in applications where a printed circuit board is not available.
